Project: Design 3 different book jackets from a list of books from the Folio to Feature. Within the design, there must be a relative theme or stylization that connects the 3 jackets as a set.

Objective: To create a visually appealing design across all book jackets and to communicate what will be in the book’s contents, and provide additional information on the back.

Overall Visual: Informational, Stylized, Attention-grabbing, Organization, and Creativity

My Design: My concept was to adopt a silhouette approach for the main characters of the stories and incorporate a piece of their environment with them (a picket white fence - Stepford Wives, blood - Red Dragon, fire - Firestarter). I chose bright colors for these jackets to accentuate the darker tones of the silhouettes and complemented them with a more hand-drawn, eerie font for the titles.
