Blackwater Distilling Vodka Label

Project: Design a vodka label and logo for a company named Blackwater Distilling, based in Maryland, using the location for the brand’s theme.

Objective: To create a visually appealing design for the Blackwater Distilling logo and label to easily communicate the information to the viewer.

Overall Visual: Branding, Attention-grabbing, and organization of information.

My Design: To start, I designed the entire brand centered around the marshlands that Maryland offers in the state’s environment, which is unique. The logo is based on a heron, which is then warped into a barley plant to represent the distillery aspect. The entire label design is an illustration I designed to be themed in the swampy marshland to pull the logo and label together.
